In the beginning:
I started my working life in Hairdressing simply because I had always loved
working with hair. After completing my apprenticeship I often saw clients
who had issues with hair loss however, at this time, I had little training to
enable me to give them the correct advice and guidance. To be able to
properly assist my clients I decided to research about Hair Loss. As I learned
and understood more, I then knew I had found my passion in hair loss, which
has now become my sole career focus for over 20 years.

Learning & Learning:
Next in my career path I trained as a Sales Consultant meeting with clients
with a variety of hair loss issues who wished to know the range of therapies
and treatments available to them. I had the opportunity to be involved in
Laser Programs which required me to operate Laser Machines and the correct
use of lotions for the scalp along with appropriate medications to stimulate
the growth of a client's own hair. I also trained in specific techniques and
procedures involved in single follicle transplants.
Following my Laser work experience, I involved myself in Hair Loss
replacement using customised and stock hair unit systems. Having worked in
this area for over 20 years I have seen incredible improvements in the
materials and techniques used. Indeed current hair units are breath taking in
terms of selections of hair available, materials, durability, wash ability and in
the attachment materials used to secure the hair unit base to the scalp of the
client, depending of their own hair loss pattern.

My Own Business:
In 2019 I opened Platinum Hair Solutions.
I believe my accumulated knowledge & Industry experience allows me to
offer a full range of Hair Loss approaches to each client regardless of their
degree of hair loss. In 2021 I completed one of the latest approaches in
addressing hair loss - Scalp Micro Pigmentation (SMP). This now allows
existing and new clients further options to address their individual needs.

Summing Up:
Having my own business has been my best career path. Using my experience
and knowledge in my own studio providing non surgical and undetectable
hair replacement treatments comes with so much satisfaction watching the
incredible change in people's lives. Providing positive life changing remedies
to clients who experience the devastation of hair loss is my passion.
